The Biennale takes place in one of the world’s most spectacular cities. To gain the most from your visit we suggest your stay should be around 4–5 days. Sydney enjoys a mild climate between June and early September, with a minimum of 9ºC and a maximum of 20ºC. Sydney is also the gateway to visiting Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

Visit the Biennale, then take off and enjoy magnificent deserts, mountains and coastlines. A trip to Australia also provides opportunities to encounter diverse Indigenous cultures. We suggest you consider extending your trip and travel to remote central Australia.
