Royal Botanic Gardens

Sydney’s exquisite Royal Botanic Gardens, located in the heart of the city, offer an abundance of wonderful flora framed by dramatic views of Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. Public Transport

Trains
Trains travel regularly to Town Hall. Connecting trains are available to Circular Quay, an accessible train station.

Buses
Buses from many locations drop off and pick up at Circular Quay. Some of these buses are accessible.

Ferries
Ferries from selected locations stop in Circular Quay on a regular basis. Circular Quay ferry wharves are accessible.
 
Walking
The Botanical Gardens are a 10 minute flat walk from Circular Quay around the foreshore, past the Sydney Opera House on Bennelong Point.

Taxis
There is a taxi rank in Circular Quay on Alfred Street and many taxis pick up and drop off from the round about at the end of Macquarie Street near Sydney Opera House. Taxis also pick up and drop off at Art Gallery Road, The Domain, outside the Art Gallery of NSW.
 
Parking
Wilson Car Park is located at 2 Macquarie Street, Circular Quay near Sydney Opera House. A $15 flat rate is available on the weekend with entry after 6:30am and exit before 5:00pm. Alternatively, casual fees of up to $42 apply. 24 accessible spaces are available. 12 accessible car spaces are available on level 1 and 12 accessible car spaces are available on level 6. Access
The Royal Botanic Gardens are located on the shoreline of Farm Cove between Bennelong and Yurong (Mrs Macquarie) Points in Sydney Harbour. The Gardens lie between Mrs Macquarie Road and Art Gallery Road, The Domain and Macquarie Street, Sydney. Accessible entrances can be found at the Opera House Gate, Queen Elizabeth II Gate, Government House Gate, Morshead Fountain Gate, Woolloomooloo Gate, Victoria Lodge Gate and Yurong Gate. Accessible Toilets are located at Government House near the Opera House Gate and just off Mrs Macquarie Road near Victoria Lodge.
